Causes

  • Exhaust gas temperature sensor malfunction

How to Fix

  1. Check the integrity of the wiring and connectors of the sensor
  2. Measure the resistance of the EGT sensor (compare with the manufacturer's specifications)
  3. Check the voltage in the sensor circuit
  4. If necessary, replace the exhaust gas temperature sensor
  5. Reset the error code and check if it returns
