Causes

  • Open or short circuit in the injector control circuit
  • Malfunction of the exhaust cleaning system injector
  • Problems with the relay or circuit fuse
  • Engine control unit malfunction
  • Oxidation of contacts in connectors

How to Fix

  1. Check the integrity of the injector wiring and connectors
  2. Check injector resistance (must meet specification)
  3. Check the voltage at the injector connector
  4. If necessary, replace the exhaust cleaning system injector
  5. Check and, if necessary, reflash the engine control unit
