Symptoms

• Check Engine Light Is On
• Loss of engine power
• Unstable idle
• The engine goes into emergency mode
• Dips when pressing the gas pedal

Causes

• Throttle position sensor B malfunction
• Throttle valve contamination
• Open or short circuit in wiring
• Poor contact in the sensor connector
• Engine ECU malfunction

How to Fix

1. Use a scanner to diagnose sensor operating parameters
2. Check the cleanliness of the throttle valve
3. Inspect the condition of the wiring and contacts
4. Check sensor resistance
5. If necessary, replace the throttle position sensor
