Causes

Gas pedal position sensor malfunction

How to Fix

Check the continuity of the gas pedal position sensor circuit
Check the supply voltage and ground of the sensor
Inspect the sensor connector for damage and oxidation.
Check the resistance of the sensor in different positions of the gas pedal
