Symptoms

• Check Engine light comes on

Causes

• Throttle Position Sensor C fault
• Open or short circuit in the sensor circuit

• Contamination or mechanical damage to the throttle valve

How to Fix

1. Check the condition of the throttle position sensor C
2. Check the integrity of the sensor circuit and connectors
3. Clean the throttle valve from dirt
4. Replace sensor if necessary
5. Reset the error and check the system operation
