Symptoms

Causes

• Throttle Position Sensor Malfunction
• Wiring problems (open or shorted)
• Dirty or mechanically faulty throttle valve
• Engine ECU malfunction
• Problems with power supply to the throttle control system

How to Fix

1. Check the condition of the throttle valve and clean it if necessary
2. Check the integrity and resistance of the wires in the control circuit
3. Check the throttle position sensor readings
4. Diagnose the engine ECU using a scanner
5. Reflash or replace the ECU if necessary
