Symptoms

Causes

  • Open circuit in the NOx sensor heater power supply circuit
  • Malfunction of the NOx sensor itself
  • Damage to the wiring harness to the sensor
  • Poor contact in the sensor connector
  • Faulty heater circuit relay or fuse

How to Fix

  1. Check the integrity of the fuses and relays of the heater circuit
  2. Inspect the sensor wiring harness and connectors for damage.
  3. Check sensor heater resistance
  4. If necessary, replace the NOx sensor
  5. Clear the error and check if it returns
