Causes

  • Broken or damaged wires in the EGR control circuit

  • Poor contact in control circuit connectors

How to Fix

  1. Check the integrity of wires and connectors in the EGR control circuit
  2. Check the resistance and operation of the EGR solenoid valve
  3. Clean or replace EGR valve if necessary
