How to Fix

1. Check the EGR cooler bypass position sensor wiring and connectors for damage or corrosion.
2. Check the voltage and resistance in the sensor circuit
3. Replace EGR cooler bypass position sensor
4. Check and replace wiring harness if necessary
5. Check the engine control unit (ECU) for faults
