Causes

• Malfunction of the crankshaft position sensor

How to Fix

1. Check the condition of the crankshaft position sensor
2. Check the integrity of the sensor circuit (opens, shorts)
3. Check the contacts in the sensor connector
4. If necessary, replace the crankshaft position sensor
5. Check and replace wiring harness if necessary
