Symptoms

• Difficulty shifting gears
• Incorrect operation of the hill start assist system
• Jerks when shifting gears
• Enabling emergency engine operation

Causes

• Malfunction of the clutch pedal position sensor
• Open or short circuit in the wiring of the clutch pedal position sensor
• Malfunction of the internal control module
• Problems with the mechanical part of the clutch pedal
• Incorrect clutch pedal adjustment

How to Fix

1. Check the clutch pedal position sensor and its wiring for damage.
2. Check clutch pedal adjustment
3. Check the voltage and resistance in the clutch pedal position sensor circuit
4. If necessary, replace the clutch pedal position sensor
5. Check and, if necessary, reprogram the internal control module
