Symptoms

• Incorrect gear shifting
• Transmission of the gearbox into emergency mode
• Check Engine Light Illuminates
• Reduced vehicle dynamics

Causes

• Open or short circuit in the sensor circuit
• Intermediate shaft speed sensor B fault
• Poor contact in the sensor connector
• Low transmission fluid level
• Mechanical problems in the gearbox

How to Fix

1. Check the level and condition of the transmission fluid
2. Inspect the wiring harness and sensor connector for damage.
3. Check resistance and sensor signal
4. Replace intermediate shaft speed sensor B if necessary
5. Clean or replace connector if there is corrosion.
