Symptoms

Causes

  • Intermediate shaft speed sensor C fault
  • Open or short circuit in the sensor circuit
  • Poor contact in the sensor connector
  • Mechanical damage to wiring
  • Transmission control unit malfunction

How to Fix

  1. Check the integrity of the wiring and connectors of the sensor
  2. Check the sensor resistance (compare with factory parameters)
  3. Check the presence of power and ground in the sensor circuit
  4. If necessary, replace intermediate shaft speed sensor C
  5. Check and, if necessary, replace the transmission control unit
