Symptoms

Causes

  • Open or short circuit in solenoid circuit
  • Poor contact in solenoid valve connectors
  • Malfunction of the pressure control solenoid K itself
  • Transmission wiring harness damage
  • Transmission control module (TCM) problems

How to Fix

  1. Check the solenoid circuit for open and short circuit.
  2. Inspect connectors and contacts for corrosion and damage
  3. Test solenoid K resistance
