Lost Communication With Head Up Display
Severity: LOW
Symptoms
- Head-up display (HUD) does not work
- Information on the HUD is displayed intermittently
- HUD does not activate when ignition is turned on
- Check Engine Light Is On
- There may be malfunctions in other information systems
Causes
- Open or short circuit in HUD circuit
- Malfunction of the display on the windshield
- Display wiring harness problems
- Poor contact in connectors
- System software failure
How to Fix
- Check HUD circuit fuse
- Inspect the wiring harness and connectors for damage.
- Check power supply and display ground
- Conduct diagnostics on the HUD display itself
- If necessary, replace the display or repair the wiring
- Update system software (if available)
