Symptoms

• Seat adjustment functions do not work D
• No seat heating/ventilation D
• The Check Engine Light or Other Warning Light Comes On
• The error is stored in the memory of the control unit
• In some cases - problems with seat position memory

Causes

• Open or short circuit in the module power supply circuit
• Damage to the wiring harness to the seat module
• Seat control module D malfunction
• Connector problems or contact corrosion
• Failures in the control unit software

How to Fix

1. Check fuses associated with the seat system
2. Diagnose the power supply and grounding circuit of the module
3. Inspect the wiring harness and connectors for damage.
4. Check the functionality of the seat control module D
5. If necessary, replace the module or repair the wiring
6. Repair only from an authorized dealer
