Symptoms

• Rear door windows are permanently locked
• The window lock function does not work
• The indicator on the lock button is on
• The rear windows are not controlled by any buttons
• The error code is always present

Causes

• Interlock switch contact stuck or shorted
• Short circuit in switch signal circuit
• Moisture or contamination of the switch
• Switch contact wear
• Malfunction of the power window control unit

How to Fix

1. Read error codes and determine the type of fault
2. Check the power window lock switch for sticking.
3. Measure the voltage on the signal wire of the switch
4. Clean the switch with contact lubricant or replace
5. Check wiring from switch to module
6. Reset codes and check the lock operation
