Symptoms

• ABS or ESP indicator lights up
• ABS system may not work
• There may be difficulties when activating stabilization systems
• The error may be recorded in the ECU memory

Causes

• Left front wheel speed sensor malfunction
• Open or short circuit in the sensor wiring harness
• Contamination or damage to the hub magnetic ring
• Poor contact in the sensor connector
• ABS control unit malfunction

How to Fix

1. Check the integrity of the sensor wiring harness
2. Check the sensor connector for corrosion or damage.
3. Clean or replace the hub magnetic ring
4. Check sensor resistance and compare with nominal values
5. If necessary, replace the wheel speed sensor
6. Reset the error and check the system
