Symptoms

Causes

• Short circuit in the sensor circuit

How to Fix

1. Check the integrity of the sensor wiring harness
2. Check sensor connectors for corrosion or damage.
3. Measure the resistance of the wheel speed sensor
4. Check the sensor signal using an oscilloscope
5. Replace the wheel speed sensor if necessary
6. Check and, if necessary, replace the ABS/ESP control unit
