Causes
- Malfunction of the mass air flow sensor (MAF B)
- Open or short circuit in the MAF wiring harness
- Poor electrical contact in the air flow sensor connector
- Water or dirt entering the sensor connector
- Problems with power or grounding of the sensor
- Engine control unit (ECU) malfunction
How to Fix
- Check the MAF wiring harness and connectors for damage and corrosion.
- Check the supply voltage and sensor circuit integrity
- Clean or replace mass air flow sensor B
- Reset the error and check if it returns
- If necessary, replace the wiring harness or control unit
