Symptoms

• Unstable engine idling
• Reduced engine power
• Increased fuel consumption
• Check Engine Light Illuminates
• The engine goes into emergency mode

Causes

• Open or short circuit in wiring harness
• Poor contact in sensor connectors
• Malfunction of the throttle position sensor or accelerator pedal
• Problems with the ECU

How to Fix

1. Check the wiring harness for breaks and short circuits
2. Inspect the sensor connectors for oxidation or damage.
3. Check sensor resistance and voltage according to specifications
4. If necessary, replace the throttle position sensor or accelerator pedal
5. Check and, if necessary, reflash or replace the ECU
