Causes

• EGR Temperature Sensor (B) Malfunction
• Open or short circuit in the sensor wiring harness
• Poor contact in the sensor connector
• Engine control unit (ECU) malfunction

How to Fix

1. Check the integrity of the EGR temperature sensor wiring harness (B)
2. Check the contacts in the sensor connector for oxidation or damage.
3. Check the resistance of the EGR temperature sensor (B) according to the manufacturer's specifications
4. Replace EGR temperature sensor (B) if necessary
5. Clear the error using an OBD-II scanner and check if it returns
