Causes

How to Fix

1. Read and write down all error codes; check for related EVAP codes
2. Visually inspect EVAP system hoses for cracks, kinks, and disconnections.
3. Check the electrical connector of the purge flow sensor: oxidation, damaged contacts
4. Measure the supply voltage and signal wire of the sensor with a multimeter
5. Replace the purge flow sensor if the readings deviate
6. Check the purge valve: apply voltage directly, make sure it opens/closes
7. Check the EVAP system for leaks using a smoke machine
8. Reset codes and test drive to confirm troubleshooting
