Causes
- Faulty generator voltage regulator (main cause)
- Voltage surge when starting from an external battery
- Incorrect charger connection
- Relay malfunction in the blinds power circuit
- Short circuit in the power circuit, creating overvoltage in the area
How to Fix
- Immediately check the voltage of the on-board network with the engine running (the norm is up to 14.7 V)
- If the voltage is higher than 15 V, immediately check the generator and voltage regulator
- Diagnose the generator with an oscilloscope or load tester
- Check the power supply circuit of the blinds for incorrect connections.
- If the mains voltage is normal, check the blinds power relay
- Replace faulty generator/regulator or relay
