Causes
- Oxidation of switch contacts (high contact resistance)
- Mechanical wear of the switch with unclear fixation
- Crosstalk from adjacent circuits to the signal wire
- Partial wire break (part of the wires are broken)
- Contamination or moisture inside the switch
How to Fix
- Read the codes, check the error conditions (constant or intermittent)
- Clean the switch connector contacts with contact spray.
- Measure the resistance of the switch in both positions - compare with the standard (usually <1 Ohm and >1 MOhm)
- Check the voltage on the signal wire with the switch pressed and released
- If the readings are unstable, replace the switch
- Reset the error and check the system operation after repair

P05BC — полный обрыв цепи (сигнала нет вообще). P05BD — сигнал есть, но его уровень некорректный. P05BC чаще указывает на физический обрыв провода, P05BD — на проблему с самим переключателем (окисление, износ) или наводки в цепи.
Стоит ли отключать систему старт-стоп при ошибке P05BD?
