Symptoms

• Check Engine Light Is On
• Reduced NOx neutralization efficiency
• Possible power limitation in SCR Limp Mode
• Increased consumption of AdBlue reagent
• Additional aftertreatment warnings

Causes

• Slow engine warm-up (thermostat opens prematurely)
• Exhaust gas temperature sensor malfunction
• Malfunction of the AdBlue dosing system during cold start
• SCR catalyst clogged or degraded
• Malfunction of the active catalyst heating system

How to Fix

1. Read all codes, pay attention to the accompanying SCR and AdBlue codes
2. Check the coolant temperature - the thermostat should open at 85–95°C
3. Check exhaust gas temperature sensors (before and after SCR)
4. Check the level and quality of AdBlue reagent
5. Check the AdBlue dosing system during cold starts
6. If necessary, diagnose the SCR catalyst
