Causes
- Slow engine warm-up (thermostat opens prematurely)
- Exhaust gas temperature sensor malfunction
- Malfunction of the AdBlue dosing system during cold start
- SCR catalyst clogged or degraded
- Malfunction of the active catalyst heating system
How to Fix
- Read all codes, pay attention to the accompanying SCR and AdBlue codes
- Check the coolant temperature - the thermostat should open at 85–95°C
- Check exhaust gas temperature sensors (before and after SCR)
- Check the level and quality of AdBlue reagent
- Check the AdBlue dosing system during cold starts
- If necessary, diagnose the SCR catalyst

SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) — система, которая впрыскивает реагент AdBlue в выхлоп для нейтрализации оксидов азота. Реакция эффективна только при температуре от 200°C.
Опасна ли ошибка P05EB?
Для экологии — да (повышенные выбросы NOx). Для механики — умеренно. При длительном игнорировании возможна деградация SCR-катализатора.
