Causes
- 5 V reference circuit wire open
- Reference voltage circuit short to ground
- Damage to the wiring harness (frayed, pressed)
- Malfunction of one of the sensors connected to circuit A (short circuit inside the sensor)
- ECU malfunction (rare)
How to Fix
- Read all error codes - multiple sensor codes indicate a common circuit problem
- Check the 5V voltage at the signal pins of the sensors connected to circuit A
- Disconnect the sensors one by one and check if the voltage is restored (search for a sensor with an internal short circuit)
- Inspect the wiring harness for chafing or damage.
- If the wiring is correct - ECU diagnostics
- Replace the faulty sensor or repair the wiring
