Causes

How to Fix
- Check the voltage of the on-board network under various loads (headlights, climate, load test)
- Inspect the alternator belt and its tension
- Carry out a load test on the generator (charging current at high speed)
- Check the battery with a load tester
- Visually inspect the generator for signs of overheating or oil.
- If there is a malfunction, replace or repair the generator
