Causes
- Compressor valve control circuit wire break
- Short circuit of the control wire to the on-board power supply
- Compressor control valve malfunction (winding break)
- Damage to the control circuit connector or terminal
- ECU output stage malfunction
How to Fix
- Read all error codes, pay attention to the presence of CAN and climate control codes
- Check the integrity of the compressor control valve wiring (continuity test)
- Measure the voltage at the valve connector with the engine running.
- Check compressor valve resistance (open = infinity)
- Repair wiring damage or replace compressor valve
- Reset error codes and check the operation of the air conditioner
