Causes
- Malfunction of the internal reference voltage regulator in the ECU
- Shorting the reference voltage line to a wire with a higher potential
- Damage to the insulation of the wiring harness near the power circuits
- Incorrect installation or non-original sensor introducing voltage into the line
- Corrosion or oxidation of connectors with parasitic power path
How to Fix
- Read error codes and record frozen frame data
- Measure the voltage on the 5V reference power line with the ignition on
- Disconnect all sensors of group D, check the voltage without load
- If the voltage remains high when the sensors are disconnected, check the ECU
- Inspect the wiring harness for contact with power wires.
- If necessary, replace the ECU or restore the wiring
