Symptoms

• Check Engine Light Is On
• Reduced engine power and thrust
• Increased fuel consumption
• Possible detonation in individual cylinders at high loads
• The ECU operates with a retarded ignition angle for safety

Causes

• Internal malfunction of the processor 2 knock sensor in the ECU
• Damage to the ECU from overheating, moisture or electrical discharge
• Software error in the detonation signal processing algorithm
• Malfunction of the knock sensor connected to processor 2
• Damage to the knock sensor wiring (second channel)

How to Fix

1. Read error codes, check knock sensor codes P0325–P0334 for channel 2
2. Check the functionality of the knock sensor of the second channel and its wiring
3. Perform a full diagnostic of the ECU using an advanced scanner
4. Try updating the ECU firmware if there is an official update
5. If an internal malfunction is confirmed, repair or replace the ECU
6. Reset codes, perform a load test in various modes
