Causes
- GPCM2 Flash Memory Damage Due to Voltage Drop
- Exposure to static electricity
- Physical wear and tear of memory cells after long-term use
- Moisture getting into the internal circuits of the module
- Poor quality power supply to the on-board network (surges when lighting a cigarette)
How to Fix
- Check the quality of power supply of the on-board network (for voltage surges)
- Check the condition of the battery and generator voltage regulator
- Try to reset the error - in rare cases, a one-time failure can be resolved by rebooting
- If the error returns, replace GPCM2
- Make sure the new module is programmed correctly
- Check the spark plug system after replacement

P06DF — ошибка контрольной суммы GPCM1 (первый модуль), P06FB — GPCM2 (второй модуль). По сути коды идентичны, но относятся к разным аппаратным блокам.
Можно ли перепрограммировать GPCM2 без замены?
Теоретически да, если имеется корректная прошивка и соответствующее оборудование для программирования. На практике это редко осуществимо в обычном автосервисе, и проще произвести замену.
