Causes

  • Faulty power steering pressure sensor
  • Open or short circuit in the sensor circuit
  • Poor contact in the sensor connector
  • Low power steering fluid level
  • Problems with the power steering pump

How to Fix

  1. Check power steering fluid level
  2. Inspect the sensor wiring and connectors
  3. Check the resistance of the pressure sensor
  4. Replace pressure sensor if necessary
  5. Check the operation of the power steering pump
