Symptoms

• Inaccurate fuel level readings on the dashboard
• Flashing low fuel indicator
• Zero fuel level readings
• Incorrect operation of the fuel level indicator
• Check Engine light comes on

Causes

• Faulty fuel level sensor B
• Open or short circuit in the sensor circuit
• Poor contact in the sensor connector
• Sensor contact corrosion
• Problems with the fuel pump module

How to Fix

1. Check resistance of fuel level sensor B
2. Inspect wiring and connectors for damage
3. Check power and ground in the sensor circuit
4. If necessary, replace fuel level sensor B
5. Reset the error code and check if it returns
