Symptoms

Causes

• Malfunction of the gas pedal position sensor F
• Damage to the sensor wiring harness
• Short circuit in the sensor circuit
• ECU malfunction
• Sensor contact corrosion

How to Fix

1. Check the integrity of the sensor wiring harness
2. Check the resistance of the gas pedal position sensor F
3. Clean the sensor contacts from corrosion
4. Replace the gas pedal position sensor F if necessary
5. Check and, if necessary, replace the computer
