Symptoms

Causes

• Coolant temperature sensor 2 malfunction
• Open or short circuit in the sensor circuit

How to Fix

1. Check sensor resistance at different temperatures
2. Inspect the wiring harness and connectors for damage.
3. Check voltage and continuity
4. Replace the coolant temperature sensor if necessary
