Causes
- Vacuum leak in intake manifold
- Malfunction of the mass air flow sensor (MAF)
- Clogged fuel injectors
- Weak fuel pump
- Leaking intake system
How to Fix
- Check the intake tract for air leaks
- Diagnose mass air flow sensor and oxygen sensors
- Check fuel pressure and pump performance
- Clean or replace fuel injectors
- Check the EVAP system for leaks
