Symptoms

• Reduced engine power
• Unstable engine operation

• Turbo lag (turbine response delay)

Causes

• Open or short circuit in the sensor circuit
• Poor contact in sensor connectors
• Turbocharger B speed sensor malfunction
• Interference in the electrical system
• Problems with the engine ECU

How to Fix

1. Check the integrity of the sensor wiring and connectors
2. Check the resistance and voltage at the sensor
3. Replace turbocharger speed sensor B if necessary
4. Check and clean connector contacts
5. Flash or replace the ECU if a fault is detected
