Causes

  • Faulty coolant temperature sensor C
  • Open or short circuit in the sensor circuit
  • Poor contact in sensor connectors
  • Corrosion of sensor contacts or connectors
  • Problems with the hybrid system ECU

How to Fix

  1. Check the continuity of the temperature sensor circuit
  2. Check sensor connections and connectors
  3. Test the coolant temperature sensor
  4. Replace the faulty sensor if necessary
  5. Check and, if necessary, update the ECU software
