- Turning the cooling fan on permanently
Causes
- Coolant temperature sensor malfunction
- Open or short circuit in the sensor circuit
- Poor connection in the sensor connector
- Engine control module (ECM) malfunction
- Problems with power or grounding of the sensor circuit
How to Fix
- Check sensor resistance at different temperatures
