How to Fix

  1. Check the level and condition of the engine oil
  2. Visually inspect the VVT solenoid wiring harness and connectors
  3. Check the integrity of the solenoid control circuit
  4. Test VVT solenoid resistance
  5. Check the operating voltage at the solenoid
  6. Replace VVT solenoid if necessary
  7. Check the valve timing mechanism
  8. Reset the error and check for reappearance
