Symptoms

• Check Engine Light Illuminates
• Uneven engine operation (more noticeable on multi-cylinder engines)
• Minor vibration at certain speeds
• Slight decrease in fuel efficiency
• Possible misfire in cylinder 6

Causes

• Cylinder 6 pressure sensor malfunction (wear, performance drift)
• Damaged or broken sensor wiring
• Oxidation of connector contacts
• Problems with the cylinder 6 ignition system
• Mechanical problems of cylinder 6 (compression, valves)

How to Fix

1. Read cylinder 6 sensor data in real time and compare with other cylinders
2. Check the connector and wiring of the cylinder 6 sensor (long harness - greater risk of damage)
3. Perform electrical tests on the sensor circuit (power, ground, signal)
4. Check the spark plug and ignition coil of cylinder 6
5. If necessary, replace the pressure sensor
6. Reset codes and verify after test drive
