Symptoms

Causes
- Worn or stuck SET button on the steering wheel
- Oxidation of contacts or change in resistance in the resistive circuit of buttons
- Damage to the steering wheel cable (spiral cable)
- Cruise control module malfunction
- Break in the wiring between the steering wheel and the ECU
How to Fix
- Check the SET button signal using a real-time scanner
- Measure the resistance of the button with a multimeter (compare with the specification)
- Inspect and check the steering wheel cable (spiral cable)
