P0575

Symptoms

• Cruise control completely inoperable
• Check Engine Light Illuminates
• Steering wheel buttons do not respond to pressure
• No indication of cruise control system
• Possible malfunctions of related steering wheel systems

Causes

• Damage or breakage of the steering wheel cable (spiral cable)
• General malfunction of the steering wheel button block
• No power or ground to cruise control module
• Malfunction of the cruise control control module (unit) itself
• The problem is in the CAN bus, through which commands are transmitted (on some cars)

How to Fix

1. Check the power and ground of the cruise control module
2. Inspect and check the cable (spiral cable) of the steering wheel
3. Use a scanner to check the input signals of each button in real time
4. Check the connectors and wiring between the steering wheel and the ECU
5. If necessary, replace the steering wheel cable or button block
6. If all inputs are working properly, diagnose the cruise control control module
