Symptoms

  • Check Engine light is on
  • The louvers of the lower or side sections of the grille hang in one position
  • Possible slight overheating under intense loads
  • Deterioration of the aerodynamic characteristics of the car
  • Active blinds warning on dashboard

Causes

  • Mechanical blocking of section B blinds (ice, stone, plate deformation)
  • Module B motor overload due to increased resistance
  • Overheating of the engine compartment affecting the module electronics
  • Module B electronics internal fault
  • Damage or oxidation of wiring and module B connector

How to Fix

  1. Monitor the coolant temperature - if it overheats, stop the car immediately
  2. Inspect the bottom of the front grille for blockages, foreign objects, or deformation.
  3. Manually check the mobility of the blinds of section B - the movement should be smooth, without jamming
  4. Connect a scanner and view data on blinds module B in real time
  5. Check the electrical circuits of module B: supply voltage, wiring integrity, connector condition
  6. Replace module B if it is confirmed to be faulty
