Symptoms

  • The Check Engine light comes on

Causes

  • Internal error in the injector control algorithm in the ECU
  • Incorrect input data disrupting injection calculations
  • Damage to the ECU firmware
  • Unstable power supply to the ECU
  • Physical ECU malfunction

How to Fix

  1. Read all codes - check for injector errors P0200-P0206
  2. Check injection data via scanner: real injector opening time
  3. Check fuel pressure and condition of injectors
  4. Update the ECU firmware if there is an official update
  5. Reset error - check for recurrence
  6. If it repeats without obvious reasons - diagnostics/replacement of the ECU
