Symptoms

  • The oil pressure or check engine light is on
  • Unstable oil pressure according to sensor readings
  • Hydraulic compensator noise when starting
  • Increased oil consumption
  • Engine transition to emergency mode

Causes

  • Broken oil pressure valve control circuit wire
  • Oxidation or damage to the valve connector
  • Oil pressure solenoid valve malfunction
  • Low engine oil level
  • Internal ECU fault

How to Fix

  1. Check the level and condition of the engine oil
  2. Visually inspect the wiring and connector of the oil pressure control valve
  3. Check the power and control signal at the valve connector
  4. Measure the resistance of the solenoid valve winding (check with the standard in the documentation)
  5. If necessary, replace the oil pressure control valve
  6. Check the integrity of the control circuit and the quality of the ECU grounding
