Symptoms

  • Multiple sensor error codes simultaneously
  • Engine transition to emergency mode
  • Check Engine light on
  • No data from multiple sensors on the scanner display
  • Unstable or abnormal engine operation

Causes

  • Open 5V power wire on circuit C
  • Wire short circuit to ground
  • Corroded or damaged ECU connector
  • Internal fault in power supply C in the ECU
  • Sensor malfunction causing power circuit overload

How to Fix

  1. Read all error codes and identify affected sensors
  2. Using the electrical diagram, identify the sensors powered from circuit C
  3. Measure the supply voltage at the connectors of these sensors
  4. Check the integrity of the power wire from the ECU to each sensor
  5. Turn off the sensors one by one to identify the source of the overload
  6. If the external circuits are in good condition, diagnose the ECU
