Sensor Power Supply C Circuit Low
Severity
🔴 HighCan you drive?
Do not drive — repair immediately
Approx. repair cost
$9–67 (est.)
Symptoms
- Low or unstable sensor readings
- Check Engine light on
- Unstable engine operation
- Multiple Circuit C Sensor Error Codes
- Engine transition to emergency mode
Causes
- Short circuit in the sensor, loading circuit C
- Shorting the power wire to ground
- Moisture getting into the sensor or ECU connector
- Malfunction of the internal power supply stabilizer of the ECU
- Damaged power conductor insulation
How to Fix
- Measure the supply voltage at terminal C with the ignition on.
- Identify the sensors powered by circuit C using the electrical diagram
- Turn off the sensors one by one and monitor the voltage restoration
- Check the internal resistance of the found “culprit” sensor
- Check the continuity and insulation of circuit C wiring
- If the voltage is normal without sensors, diagnose the ECU
